Ossie Airewele
Architect, Inclusive Design Specialist
B.A. (Hons.), Dip.Arch ARB
Ossie believes that inclusive design begins with listening deeply to communities and understanding how architecture can support quality of life, social equity and long-term belonging.
Ossie is an accomplished architect with experience across the UK and Canada, bringing a balanced understanding of architecture from concept design through construction. His work spans commercial, mixed-use, cultural, residential, institutional, healthcare and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on socially responsible and inclusive design. Since joining BDP Quadrangle in 2019, he has led residential and mixed-use projects, including Bathurst Assembly, a 13-storey commercial building in downtown Toronto and master planning work that reimagines existing mall sites as residential-focused mixed-use communities. As a thought leader within BDP’s Toronto studio and Human Space, Ossie helps advance conversations around equity, innovation, housing and the role design can play in creating more inclusive cities.
